| Marine Weather | Fishing May 8, 1999 We fished both sides of the channel above the Weapons Station in 7 to 15 feet of water. Even though there was a strong South West breeze fish were biting on squid and blood worm. We caught ~30 croakers, 3 flounders, and one trout. I only went out a couple of times in June. We were chased around by t-storms on one occasion and we tried to escape a nor-easter on another. We ran up the York to the Morris bay area where the fish beeper started going crazy. We didn't catch anything but one small croaker. We had good fishing on Sept. 19. I got a couple of large croakers(16 inches) in the lower York. I'll post pics when I can.
